bacolod…
this is the sceen outside my hotel window. it’s been raining since i arrived yesterday. this morning i was roused from sleep by the spattering of rain against the glass. sigh. i wished i never had to get up and go about my business. but that isn’t so.
my mood-lifter. a cup of freshly brewed coffee. this time around, i had an exquisite chocolate cake to go with it. sinful! me and my coffee is always perfect company. with the cake, it was a party!!!
this was lunch. a healthy plate of greens and grilled chicken. yes i am trying to lose weight. but then again, breakfast was quite heavy.
while i see how milenyo is venting it’s rage across the country, i am perfectly comfortable where i am. i am no manila that is in a state of devastation. neither am i in a state of calamity like albay or antique. 
why then is this glass as half empty?
